Catering
Pride means celebrating diversity, and we want this to be reflected in the food and drink on offer at Herts Pride. We are looking to provide a variety of options for different dietary requirements, that are affordable to attendants.
Food and drink vendor pitches are limited, and we aim to commit to one vendor per cuisine to ensure a diverse mix of options. We allow for one ice cream van only.
With thousands of visitors arriving at different times throughout the day, a range of exciting catering options is a much needed part of the experience.
Catering is SOLD OUT for 2024
A Mobile Catering Trailer or Gazebo is £300, and an Ice Cream Van is £250; we only permit one Ice Cream Van. [Ice Cream Van is sold out for 2023]
All vendors must fully complete the Watford Borough Council Food Safety Questionnaire for Mobile Traders.
Vendors will also need to provide a copy of the following:
- Food Hygiene Scores on the Doors Rating
- Public Liability Insurance Certificate
- Food Safety Certificates
- Food Hygiene and Safety Risk Assessment
- Mobile Food Vendors Fire Safety Risk Assessment

If your application is accepted, we will request that you email us with the copies of all the documents listed above.
Requesting a pitch does not guarantee a place is secured until confirmation is received from Herts Pride.
There is no power or fresh running water on site.
Watford Borough Council Environmental Services will undertake checks of your catering business to ensure that your Food Hygiene Rating is up to date and current.
